Scenarios with complete and partial thrombosis of coronary arteries

Complete thrombosis

Computer reconstruction of a scenario with complete thrombosis of the coronary arteries as a result of the entry of activated platelets into the coronary blood flow is shown. The computation was carried out on the model of the human vessels PlasticBoy [https://www.plasticboy.co.uk/]. Red color corresponds to the formation of a solid thrombus. The graph shows the change in volumetric blood flow during thrombosis.

Partial thrombosis

Computer reconstruction of a scenario with partial thrombosis of the coronary arteries as a result of the entry of activated platelets into the coronary blood flow is shown. The computation was carried out on the model of the human vessels PlasticBoy [https://www.plasticboy.co.uk/]. Red color corresponds to the formation of a solid thrombus. The graph shows the change in volumetric blood flow during thrombosis, blue indicates the time interval for the formation of fibrin microclots, and red indicates the time interval for the subsequent formation of a massive solid thrombus.
